INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Consultant will provide advice to BRRL on pavement failure issue, specially on embankment and sub soil related problems, investigate the ground condition of specified area. Prepare a guideline for different soil improvement design (PVD, SCP, stone column, Geo textile/Geogrid installation, Dynamic compaction, any other modern and suitable method etc), provide training on ground improvement design for RHD officials. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The consultant shall have as a minimum the following qualifications and experience.
i) Minimum B.Sc in Civil Engineering with geotechnical engineering background (major/minor);
ii) Minimum 15 years general experience in the field of Civil engineering;
iii) Minimum 10 years of specific experience in relevant field (Ground improvement, ground stabilization, soil-structure interaction, etc).
iv) Shall have relevant training. |

The applicant will have to submit his/her application in the prescribed format given in Request for Application (RFA) document.
Request for Application (RFA) document may be obtained by the interested applicants from the office of the Director, BRRL during office hours until 14 January, 2020.
Applicants shall have to submit application in sealed envelope labeled with individual Consultant for “Assisting Soil Investigation Division for Designing Soil Improvement of various road divisions and capacity building of RHD Professionals”.
With all supporting documents the application must be delivered at or before 3.30pm on 15 January, 2020.
The Client will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the applicant (s) in connection with the preparation or delivery of the application. |
