Objectives:
1. To understand gender differences in accessing health care
2. To determine the degree of gender responsiveness of health care delivery
3. To identify relevance of indicators to measure extent of gender mainstreaming in health services
4. To define areas of improvement to further enhance gender friendliness of health care delivery system.

The service provider shall be a Consulting Organization/Institution focused on the field of health care service and system having demonstrated expertise in evaluating programme or undertaking research.
The applicant organization/institution
i. Must be a registered Company.
ii. Must have Tax Identification Number, Business Identification Number and up to date Income Tax Certificates (Submitted return), and not declared Bankrupt/Ineligible/Banned by the Court.
Academic background of the members of the team:
iii. Team lead must be a medical graduate with MPH, (PhD would be of high preference) with a focus on gender in health is desirable.
iv. At least 5 years of experience at national level in health systems research focusing on issues around gender analysis of health education and health care.
v. Strong track record in qualitative assessments and also in conducting HH survey.
vi. Demonstrated experience of working with Government, INGO, Development Partners especially in the area of health system strengthening.
vii. Previously engaged with the formulation process of national level policy/strategy document, evaluation of any national level health program.
viii. Publications of Team Leader on gender in health.
ix. Skills in facilitation of stakeholder engagement/workshops. |
