| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The consulting services include multidisciplinary services to provide technical, financial, social & environmental and management support to the PMU including the district level officials and the upazila level officials of LGED in the implementation of the project ensuring compliance with the policies/guidelines of the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and the International Development Association (IDA) including preparation of detailed design of Climate-Resilient Rural Road rehabilitation works and field supervision. |

The firm selection criteria are:
(a) General experience of the Firm(s), brochures and logistics of the firm;
(b) Relevant experience in similar assignments, proven experience in design and supervision of climate resilient rural roads will carry more weightage;
(c) Experience in development partner’s funded similar projects;
(d) High quality technical and managerial capability of the firm for Rural Development Works.
Consultants are requested to submit, but not limited to, the following supporting documents in support of the above-mentioned criteria:
(i) Registration paper of the firm(s); (ii) Firm’s brochures; (iii) description of similar assignments, (completed over the last 10 years) (including nature, total cost, total input in terms of man month, employer, location of service etc.); (iv) availability of appropriate professional qualifications, knowledge and experience among staff; (v) experience in similar operating conditions; (vi) capacity and logistics of the firm; (vii) Audited financial reports for last three years; (viii) JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable); (ix) Turn Over, TIN, VAT and Bank solvency certificate; (x) list of top management with qualifications and experience; credentials of the principal must be submitted. |
