INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

1. Event Management Firms who have minimum 10+ years of overall experience in providing event related services and supply of related goods & services;
2. Technical resources and facilities available for Event Management service;
3. The Tenderers shall have the experience of at least 01(One) Govt. contact successfully completed within last 02(two) years’ worth Taka 3 (Three) crore;
4. The Company shall have a minimum experience of arranging 5 (five) IT related Program/Event of which at least 2 (Two) should involve VVIP and the aggregate value should be not less than 8 Crore Taka. Company profile in relation to International Level Govt. event management.
5. Must have an experience to work with a business accelerator and trade gateway for international ICT related campaign.
6. Firm need to have similar experience of arranging govt. event with foreign delegates in international conference;
7. The firm must have sufficient amount of liquid assets, i.e., working capital or credit line(s) 10 (Ten) crore taka supported by appropriate documents;
8. The firm must have submitted Original Bank Solvency Certificate;
9. The firm must have update-audit-report of previous 3 years. The firm submit yearly turnover at least Tk.10 Crore supported by appropriate report/documents.

The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) is one of the largest and most prestigious ICT events in the world. It is a signature event of the World Information Technology & Services Alliances (WITSA), a consortium of information and communication technology. First held in 1978, WCIT is unique in its global perspective on ICT issues and its ability to draw users, providers, media and academia from around the world. The congress features discussions on the evolution of the digital age, emerging markets, legal and policy issues, political and economic trends, emerging technologies, ICT user perspectives, business opportunities in the global marketplace and similar other topics. Besides, the congress will showcase ICT products and services, host B2B sessions, ministerial conference and a series of seminar and conferences. In 2021, Bangladesh is hosting WCIT in Dhaka. It will be held on 11-14 November 2021. It is hosted by ICT Division. The congress will address the story of digital transformation of Bangladesh, its achievements alongside global issues of digital space. WCIT 2021 will also feature exhibition and programs on the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to mark his birth century. It is expected that over 2500 delegates and participants from over 75 countries and more than 100 speakers and panelists will take part in the grand event. The event is expected to be held in both physical and virtual mode. Bangbandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka has been chosen as the venue for physical events. For organizing WCIT 2021 and to coordinate With all the stakeholders, there is a need to form a Secretariat to be named as “WCIT 2021 Secretariat”. With a view to carry out the relevant activities a set of consultants will be engaged. |
