INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

General Experience: The minimum no. of years of General Experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as prime contractor or sub-contractor or management contractor or O&M (operation and Maintenance) contractor shall be 5 (Five) years.
Specific Experience:
The minimum 04 years of specific experience as Prime Contractor/Nominated Sub-contractor/ Management Contractor in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of major bridge of similar nature and complexity contract with a minimum value BDT 180 (One Hundred Eighty) Crore completed over a period of last 15 (fifteen) years.
Simillar nature and complexity are:
a) Experience in Maintenance Work of Major Bridge (Not Less than 01 km length, minimum 80 m span).
b) Experience in Maintenance of River Training works/Guide Bund (Not Less than 01 Km length) on major river.
c) Experience in Maintenance work of Highway (Not Less than 10 Km length, minimum 2 lane.
d) Experience in toll collection and toll software operation for a bridge or highway with average revenue collection minimum 200 (two hundred) crore BDT from a single structure in single contract for consecutive 3 years.
e) These above can be in a single contract or separate contract.
NB: The lead partner, in case of JV, shall comply at least (a) and (b)among above
The required average annual turnover as a contractor shall be greater than BDT 90 (Ninety) Crore of the best 3 (Three) years in the last Five (5) years.
The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the tenderer shall be minimum BDT 15 (Fifteen) Crore.
In case of joint venture (JV) the lead partner shall not authorize any other partner to sign the Tender Document/Contract Agreement.
In case of Joint venture each of the associated/JV partners shall have any one (1) experience on key activities as stated in SI 22(iii) above.

Operation and Maintenance of Jamuna Bridge & Associated Facilities and toll collection for a period of 5 years during 2026- 2031
Jamuna Bridge is 4.8 Km long with 2 guid bund of 3.2 km each, 31 km approach road, 2 toll plaza on both sides. The contractor shall operate and maintain all the related works and maintenance of its bridge and associated area, traffic managements, security for 5 years and operate the toll collection activities for about 2 years.
