| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The aim of the assignment is to develop national policies, governance and regulatory frameworks, standards and protocols, and accreditation standards for all aspects of pre-hospital and hospital-based emergency care services with the aim of setting up a formal EMS in the Bangladesh in line with international standards. The ultimate aim is to reduce morbidity and mortality from road traffic crashes in Bangladesh by setting up formal EMS. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. A Consultancy Firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020” and based on the following criteria:
a) Core Business and Years in Business.
b) Relevant Experience: Applicants should demonstrate experience in similar assignments in last ten years.
c) Technical and Organizational Capabilities.
2. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Paragraph 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020”.
