INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The study is formulated with a view to perform Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and baseline study to assess the state of surface water and groundwater resources, water use, water quality, water demand, water zoning, aquifer formation, recharge potential, identify water stress area on the basis of secondary data with providing mouza maps, and mapping the existing groundwater monitoring wells and suggest the proposed locations for necessary wells to be installed in the study area. Details are furnished in the Terms of References (TOR), which can be obtained from the office of the Procuring Entity as well as in the website of WARPO (www.warpo.gov.bd) |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. The consulting firm/firms must have at least 10 (ten) years of experience in providing technical assistance and consultancy services in water resources management.
2. Must have at least 05 (five) years of working experience in PRA and baseline study of water resources management project.
3. Must have experience of at least 05 (five) similar projects in the field of water resources. Among the projects, at least 02 (two) projects must be GOB projects, one of which must have a contract value of at least BDT 1.80 crore.
4. Must have audit report of the previous 03 (three) years and the audit report must reflect the average yearly turnover of the firm at least BDT 2 crore.
5. Must have minimum 1.20 crore as liquid assets (certificate or proof on availability of liquid assets or fund availability, must be issued 03 (three) months from the date of EOI submission by the concern authority).
6. Interested firm(s) may associate with other firms to enhance their qualification and experience in the form of a Joint Venture (JV). All members of such an association will be individually liable for pre-determined and well-defined inputs to the assignment. The maximum no. of members in the association should not be more than 02 (two). Both the firm must be Bangladeshi firms.
7. Relevant professionals as per ToR should be included in the expression of interest.
8. Firms/JV will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in Public Procurement Act 2006 and Public Procurement Rules 2025.

1. Application for Expression of Interest (EOI), 2. Up-to-date and valid Trade License, TIN and VAT Registration Certificate and related documents, 3. Updated Income Tax Certificate, 4. Constitutional documents of the firm(s)/JV, 5. Company brochure/ profile covering company expertise, strength and experience, 6. Original copies of liquid asset information issued by concerned authority, 7. Last 03 (Three) Years of Audited financial reports, 8. At least 5 (Five) project completion certificate/testimonial in the field of Water Resources, 9. List of PRA personnel along with their signed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
The EOI in four sets (1 original + 3 duplicates), duly signed on every page, shall be submitted in sealed envelope, delivered to the address of the under signed and clearly marked "Expression of Interest for the Consultancy Services for Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Baseline Study in South-West Hydrological Region of Bangladesh"
