| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The main objective of the study is to identify all existing problem and to find out no-regret solutions for sustainable management of the rivers in Dinajpur District. It will include flood and erosion risk management as well as improvement of water storage capacity of the rivers. It will also include improvement of drainage facilities, development of a drought management plan, afforestation plan and development plan of recreational amenities along riverbanks. Interested consulting firm may obtain further information from Terms of reference (ToR) at the office of the procuring entity upon written request. | Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The EOI will be evaluated based on the following: a) Registration and Legal Entitlements of the Firm (Trade License, TIN, VAT Registration, etc.), b) Company Profile, Organizational Structure, Logistics and Availability of Permanent Key Professional Staff, c) Average Annual Turnover (Audited Financial Statement for the last 5 (five) years), d) General Experience of the firm(s) over the last 10 years and e) Specific Experience in similar nature of service/work (Feasibility Study for Water Resources Management Project in urban and semi-urban areas, Flood and River Management projects, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of Water Resources Management Project etc.) over the last 05 years.
Consulting Firm may associate with other firms to strengthen their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a Joint Venture (i.e. all members of the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable) and/or Sub-consultants. Each firms specific tasks and obligations must be outlined in the joint venture agreement. In case of joint venture, it is preferable to limit the maximum number of firms within 03 (three) in an association including the lead firm.
