INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

a) The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed “Similar Works” in previous 7 years from the Bid submission Last Date as per the criteria specified below:
i)a) 3 similar works each costing not less than BDT 45.33 Crores (INR-36.13 Crores), or
ii) 2 similar works each costing not less than BDT 68.29 Crores( INR-54.20 Crores), or
iii) 1 similar work costing not less than BDT 91.06 Crores(INR-72.27 Crores).
b) 14.7.3 Qualification Criteria for Equipment and Experience
(i) For minimum eligibility pertaining to equipment, the Bidder may refer Clause 5, Part I – Scope of Work of Section – VI: Terms of Reference.
(ii) Details of dredging work executed in last 7 years, type of dredging work executed, details of dredgers deployed, quantity, scheduled period of execution, date of commencement and date of completion, substantial completion and certificate/testimonials from the concerned clients regarding successful completion / substantial completion of the job to substantiate technical capacity of the Bidder required as per Clause 14.7.1 of ITB.
c) 14.1.1 Qualification Criteria for Average annual turnover for last 3 financial years i.e. 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16
(i) At least BDT 34.15 Crores (BDT Thirty four Crores and Fifteen lakhs).
(ii) The Bidders shall provide financial turnover of the firm for the last three years duly certified by statutory auditors.
d) The evidences submitted shall be issued by an officer of not below the rank of Executive Engineer. In case of foreign tenderer, the evidences issued by competitive Authority shall be certified by the foreign mission or embassy at Bangladesh of that country.

a) Scope of the work:
In brief, the Scope of Work for the appointed firm shall be providing LAD of 2.50m in navigation channel by Dredging in Sirajganj-Daikhowa Stretch of Indo-Bangladesh Inland Water Transit and Trade Protocol Routes for 7 years as specified in the Tender Document. The detailed Terms of Reference (ToR)/scope of the work shall be as described in the Section-VI of this Tender Document.
b) Method of Selection:
Bidder will be selected under Cost Based Selection-L1 (CBS) and procedures described in this Tender Document. The lowest priced Bidder i.e. L-1 shall be chosen based on the evaluated Bid Price (The evaluated Bid Price will be the aggregate of the Net Present Value (NPV) of 7 (seven) years).
