| Brief Description of Goods or Works : |

The scope of works and services of the Full Coverage Operation & Maintenance (O & M) Contractor shall include, but not be limited to the following:
i) Continuous operation and maintenance of the compressor station efficiently and safely with compliant manner in accordance to international codes and standards with trained, experienced and competent man-power and required tools, equipment and resources for operation and maintenance activities of the AGCS & EGCS;
ii) Identify, management and procurement of spares from the OEM and other entities;
iii) Engage expertise management personnel for analysis and decision making on the condition of equipment and system.
iv) Adjusting operating parameters to maintain Gas Transmission system integrity and address / mitigate gas quality issues;
v) Providing 24-hour staffing at each station in terms of operation, mechanical maintenance, electrical and instrumentation maintenance and response to address any compressor operation and maintenance issue and perform any specified services of the compressor stations;
vi) Implementing and developing station’s operating and maintenance procedures as per manufacturer’s guideline;
vii) Conducting compressor units and station inspections under planned maintenance schedules as well as after service interruptions caused by events such as pipeline shut-ins, etc. in order to maximize system and equipment availability and reliability and therefore minimize the impact of such events upon Gas Transmission, Gas Distribution and Customer Services Operations;
viii) Maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and undertaking all inspection & tests as per requirement of statutory bodies e.g. Department of Environment, Department of Explosives, BERC, Gas act, National Board of Revenue.
ix) Executing Service Contract with Original Equipment Manufacturers of proprietary equipment/system like Gas Turbine & Compressor Packages (Siemens), Gas Engine Generators (Caterpillar), Flow Computers (Omni), Distributed Control Systems (Emerson) for schedule maintenance, breakdown maintenance, overhauling, supplying spare parts & consumables etc.
x) Conducting adequate and structured successive training programs both home & abroad (class room & on-the job field level training) for the Technical Personnel of the GTCL’s Compressor Stations to build-up capacity and skill in O&M works for smooth & safe operation, maintenance & management of the compressor stations.
