INFORMATION FOR TENDERER
|
| Eligibility of Tenderer : |
: |
a) Reputed Contractors/ Construction Firms who have minimum 10 (ten) years of general experience in construction works.
b) Having experience as a prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in successful completion of at least 1 (one) number of minimum 10 (ten) storied RCC building amounting to BDT 85.00 (Eighty Five) Crore in a single contract during last 5(five) years in any Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous organization of Bangladesh.
In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer. In case of the works done under Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that district under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
Prescribed form for work certificate for this purpose will be available in all offices mentioned in clause no-8.2
c) The tenderer shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover during last 5 (five) years of BDT 140.00 (One Hundred Fourty) Crore. Payment certificate for contracts in progress or completed under public sector must be submitted along with tender in support of average annual construction turnover.
d) The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the tenderer shall be BDT 35.00 (Thirty Five) crore. Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender. Letter of Commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for Line of Credit as per form PW3-7 of Tender and Contract forms section must be submitted for this purpose.
e) The minimum Tender Capacity shall be 100.00 (One Hundred) Crore.
f) Tenderers having quoted the tender price more than 10 (Ten) percent above or below the official cost estimated cost, shall be rejected.

Document.
h) The tenderer must posses
i) Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate
ii) Valid VAT Registration certificate
iii) Up-to-date trade license
iv) Up-to-date ABC category contractor and supervisory license from electricity Licensing Board, Government of Bangladesh
v) Attested copy of documents mentioned in sl no. i, ii, iii, & iv are to be submitted
vi) Original money receipt must be enclosed with the tender
