Qualifications of the Bidder: (i) Financial Capabilities: at least US$ 2.4 (Two point Four) Million or an equivalent amount, (ii) Average Annual Construction Turnover: US$ 15.0 (Fifteen) Million in the best 3 (Three) years in last 5 (Five) years, divided by 3 (Three) years. (iii) General Construction Experience: Experience under construction contracts in the role of prime contractor, JV member, sub-contractor, or management contractor for at least the last 10 (Ten) years, (iv) Specific Construction & Contract Management Experience: Satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor, JV member, management contractor or sub-contractor between 1st January 2009 and application submission deadline: (a) Minimum 2 (Two) numbers of Commercial Building Construction (at least 10 storied plus 2 basements) for which total value of contracts shall not be less than US$15.0 (Fifteen) Million and minimum value for at least 1 (One) contract shall be US$ 10.0 (Ten) Million or, (b) Minimum 1 (One) number of Commercial Building Construction (at least 10 storied plus 2 basements). The minimum value of contract shall be US$ (Fifteen) 15.0 Million. (c) The similarity of the contract(s) shall be based on the following: Commercial Building/Official Building Construction having Structural Steel as the major structural elements. A minimum construction experience in the following key activities successfully completed: Minimum 10,000 sq. meter RCC slab area construction and installation of 10,000 meter of piles. Detailed qualifications requirements are defined in Section III – Evaluation and Qualification Criteria of bidding document. General Specifications, Specific Specifications and Drawings of Works are available in Volume – 3/4 & 4/4 of bidding document respectively. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 (Revised July 2014) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
